Job summary

USP College is seeking a dedicated Teacher of Media to inspire students from Level 1 to Level 4. The role focuses on delivering high-quality, career-focused teaching, developing curriculum and leveraging digital tools to enhance learning, within our Essex-based campus.

The candidate should hold a degree in a relevant subject, bring passion for teaching, and support learners academically and pastorally. Hybrid working options and staff development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

Qualified to degree in relevant subject or similar.
An expert in their subject area, with a strong understanding of progression pathways and enrichment opportunities.
Enthusiastic about teaching, with effective strategies to support learners at Levels 1–3 (and Level 4 where appropriate).

Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with curriculum requirements.
Monitor, assess, and report on student progress.
Provide academic guidance and pastoral support to help every learner succeed.
Make effective use of digital platforms (e.g. Teams, Google Classroom) and emerging tools such as AI to enhance student learning and feedback.
Participate in curriculum development, open events, interviews, and student induction activities.
