Job summary

Academics is recruiting a Business Studies Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible ongoing supply across Retford’s secondary schools. You’ll deliver engaging lessons to KS3 and KS4 and may cover other subjects when needed.

The role welcomes both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers, with QTS and an Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain) required.

Pay ranges £140–£195 per day via PAYE, with holiday pay, and flexible start dates to suit your availability.

Are you a passionate Business Studies Teacher looking for flexible teaching opportunities across Retford?

At Academics, we act as an agency and are recruiting a Business Studies Teacher to work on a temporary, flexible, ongoing supply basis across a large variety of secondary schools throughout Retford.

This role will provide a platform for you to share your passion for Business Studies with secondary students at a variety of schools across while also offering you the opportunity to undertake general secondary cover to share your passion for other subjects where applicable.

Location: Retford

Contract: Temp, Flexible Ongoing Supply

Pay: £140-£195 per day (Dependent on experience, training, qualifications, paid via PAYE - No umbrella company fees, inclusive of holiday pay)

Start date: ASAP

The Role:

While working as an Business Studies Teacher, you will deliver engaging Business Studies lessons across KS3 & KS4, driving pupils to build their literary knowledge, critical thinking and analytical skills, while building the confidence to communicate their ideas effectively.

The role is ideal for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECT) who are looking for flexible, temporary, ongoing work. There may also be opportunities to undertake general secondary cover across a variety of schools.
