Salary: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum (MPS/UPS)

Are you enthusiastic about Business Studies and passionate about teaching? GSL Education is in search of a charismatic Business Studies Teacher to join a local secondary school in Poole for a permanent position starting in September 2024.

As a Business Studies Teacher you could teach a variety of business-related subjects including business practice and management, accounting, information technology, administration and economics.

As a Business Studies Teacher, you will play a crucial role in fostering a positive and engaging learning environment. The ideal candidate is not only well-versed in the subject matter but also enthusiastic about making Business Studies accessible and enjoyable for students of varying abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and comprehensive Business Studies lessons aligned with the school's curriculum standards, ensuring that students are well-prepared for assessments and future academic challenges.
• Implement differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities within the classroom, ensuring that each student has the opportunity to excel.
• Utilise innovative and interactive teaching methods, incorporating technology and real-world applications to make Business Studies relevant and captivating for students.
• Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to analyse assessment data and refine teaching practices.
• A positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language, promoting respectful behaviour among students.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies or a related field.
• Teaching certification in Business Studies or Information Technology.
• PGCE/QTS/QTLS
• Proven experience teaching Business Studies at the secondary level is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with and commitment to the principles of the school’s curriculum.
