Are you a Psychology Graduate interested in working with children in primary schools with behavioural and mental health needs? This full-time role starting in September 2024 offers an opportunity to work with children with additional needs throughout the academic year.
Academics LTD collaborates with numerous primary schools in Waltham Forest seeking proactive graduates with a good understanding of mental health to serve as Teaching Assistants.
The role involves working with pupils aged 5-11, including those with SEMH, SEN, and ASD, on a 1:1 basis and in classroom settings. Training will be provided for managing challenging behaviour, and collaboration with SENCOs, senior management, and external agencies is expected.
