Job summary

NHS Supply Chain is hiring a Business Readiness Manager to lead readiness and activation activities for digital experience projects. You will define and implement business processes, coordinate training materials, and drive adoption across internal and external users, reporting to the Principal Digital Business Readiness and Activation Manager.

This is a hybrid role based in Nottingham with two days on-site.

Qualifications

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly explain the vision and messages of business readiness activities.
  • Ability to balance conflicting requests and priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to convey information concisely and encourage open dialogue to build ownership.
  • Experience working with NHS trusts or similar multi-stakeholder environments is preferred.
  • Understanding of ADKAR or similar change management methods and how they support business change.

Responsibilities

  • Analyse business processes and stakeholders to map impacted areas for current and future digital experience projects.
  • Conduct detailed gap analyses to identify risks and efforts required to deliver changes.
  • Define actions, owners, impacted users, timelines and KPIs for platform or feature changes.
  • Ensure quality of implementation, monitor progress and remove blockers to meet timelines.
  • Create briefs for training materials and support tools to facilitate onboarding and continuous improvement.
  • Prepare and present materials to diverse stakeholders and customers, adapting context for each audience.

Salary: Offered on a starting salary of £ 51,704

NHS Supply Chain currently has an opportunity for a Business Readiness Manager to join our team during an exciting period of transformation, working to make it easier for the NHS to put patients first.

As part of the Digital Experience team, reporting into the Principal Digital Business Readiness and Activation Manager, you will be responsible for the definition and implementation of business processes to successfully integrate our digital capability into both business and customer environment and driving adoption. You will be leading readiness and activation activities, ensuring our users are prepared for the changes, as well as creating materials to support the user experience once the change is implemented.

Every day you will …
  • Analyse business processes and stakeholders, mapping out and assessing areas of the organisation that will be impacted due change of current and future digital experience projects and change, for launch and release life cycle.
  • Conduct detailed gap analysis on areas of impact, understand and communicate risk of no action and effort required to deliver.
  • Define actions needed, owners, impacted users (internal and external), timeline and KPI’s to support implementation of digital experience changes at platform and/or feature level.
  • Ensure quality of implementation, monitoring and management to ensure timelines are met and escape appropriately any blockers.
  • Produce detailed briefs for the creation of training materials and support tools to facilitate the changes/onboarding of new platform ways of working throughout the full change cycle, including working with teams to gather feedback to constantly improve these materials.
  • Regularly creating presentations and presenting confidently to multiple stakeholders and customers, amending content and context depending on the audience.
