Job description

The Business Operations & Enablement Manager drives scalable process design, cross-functional enablement, and measurable outcomes across UNiDAYS. Working closely with business stakeholders, you diagnose root causes to turn complex operational friction into streamlined, fit-for-purpose solutions built for scale.
From modernising workflows and automation, to powering executive reporting (like the Monthly Management Report), preparing data and inputs for strategic planning and OKR cycles, and leading governance rhythms, you are a force-accelerator across the business.
A solution-oriented self-starter, you excel at processing high volumes of complex information, cutting through noise, and translating ambiguity into clear paths forward. You build trust quickly - gaining stakeholder credibility through sharp questioning, insightful synthesis, and pragmatic problem-solving.

Job requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a Business Operations, Operational Change Management and/or Project Delivery within a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience mapping complex processes, redesigning workflows for scale, and deploying modern tools/automation platforms.
  • Strong critical thinking ability with a track record of weighing operational trade-offs against commercial outcomes.
  • Comfortable driving accountability across teams without direct line management, and confident constructively challenging peers to ensure the right business outcome.
  • Proven track record of bringing teams along on the journey, from designing new processes to delivering training, building documentation, and ensuring lasting adoption.
  • Demonstrated experience taking cross-functional projects through to hands‑on implementation and operational handover.
  • Exceptional ability to synthesise complex data into clear narratives, and strategic summaries.
  • Hands‑on experience implementing OKRs/KPIs; familiar with best practice, driving team adoption, and tracking progress to hold teams accountable to business outcomes.
  • Background as a systems BA mapping requirements and system dependencies.
  • Experience working within a high‑growth scale‑up or start‑up.
Job responsibilities
Framework Design & Operational Scalability
  • Build, refine, and roll out scalable workflows and processes that eliminate organisational friction and enhance cross‑departmental alignment and measurable business outcomes.
  • Works cross‑functionally to get under the hood of complex problems. Asks probing questions, diagnoses operational friction, and designs solutions appropriate to risks and trade‑offs.
  • Evaluate, pilot, and deploy tools, enhance flows and automation systems to improve scalability and business efficiency.
Strategic Enablement & BAU Execution
  • Drive high‑impact execution of mid‑to‑large operational enablement initiatives (e.g., Data Team Governance), ensuring projects tangibly improve BAU execution.
  • Works closely with cross‑functional project teams, enabling teams to work toward commitments and shared goals, maintaining clear ownership, dependencies, and accountability without direct authority.
  • Implement clear project governance, risk logging, and status reporting to ensure business‑critical projects land on time, within scope, and with clear operational handovers.
  • Run peak period cross‑functional delivery, lead post‑peak wrap‑up and retrospectives, and ensure key learnings are formally captured and integrated into next year’s strategic planning and operational cycles.
Operating Rhythms, Governance & Insights
  • Facilitate and drive key internal review cycles (e.g., Weekly/Monthly Business Reviews, Trade Report Forums) to ensure meetings focus on high‑quality discussion that moves the business forward vs status updates.
  • Oversee the integrity and delivery of reporting suites. Extract high‑value insights, challenge low‑value commentary or data inconsistencies, and surface strategic risks to the Director and Senior Leadership Team.
  • Drive organisational adoption and continuous tracking of OKR frameworks across business units; lead workshops, rigorously monitor milestone compliance, constructively challenge lagging metrics, and escalation unmitigated execution risks to senior leadership.
