Job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Manager to join our Healthcare team at Gatwick IRC, an Immigration Removal Centre located at Gatwick.

Gatwick IRC is an Immigration Removal Centre based close to the runway at Gatwick Airport. We are recruiting for a Business Manager with strong Administration experience to lead a team of 4 Administrators and support the daily running of the Business.

Hours

Monday - Friday 0800 - 1600 / 0900 - 1700

Salary

This position is full time, you will receive an annual salary up to £44,183 per annum FTE - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
  • Have experience of a community clinical system (SystmOne).
  • Ensuring data is accurate and high quality for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Responsible for managing effective, patient-centred, clinical administration processes and leading the administration team to ensure smooth day to day running of the service.
  • Having oversight and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all patient data. Also responsible for overseeing healthcare administration and appointments for all patient clinics and external hospital appointments.
  • Provide quality data submissions in a timely manner for internal and external reporting requirements.
  • Overall responsibility for leading the administration team.
  • Deliver effective patient-centred clinical administration to ensure the smooth day to day running of the service by overseeing healthcare appointments, scheduling of patient clinics and external hospital appointments.
Qualifications
  • Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent grade C or above
  • NVQ 2 Business Administration or equivalent
  • Working experience of a clinical patient administration system (SystmOne preferable)
  • Experience managing teams within a multi-disciplinary environment
  • Experience interpreting and analysing complex data sets
  • Experience of data quality and experience developing data quality
