Job summary

Ashfield District Council is seeking a Business Intelligence Officer to join the Policy & Performance team. You will analyse performance data, create dashboards and reports, and translate data into actionable insights for decision-makers across the Council.

You will use Excel and Power BI, support customer insight projects, assist with GIS and spatial data analysis, and help maintain performance management systems to promote data-driven improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Experience working with data and ICT systems.
• Knowledge of Power BI, GIS or performance management is advantageous.

  We're looking for someone with strong numerical and analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience of working with data and ICT systems. Knowledge of Power BI, GIS or performance management would be an advantage.

  This post is career graded from Grade D to Grade F. Starting salary and grade will be determined according to experience and qualifications. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to progress through the grades as they develop the required skills, knowledge and competencies for the role.
