Job Title: Operations Business Intelligence Analyst

Location: Shoreham-by-Sea (Hybrid role)

This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Private Equity backed ICT Services business at a time when the Data and Analytics function is core to the next phase of growth.

The Data and Analytics team is responsible for the continued growth of data and analytics capabilities within the business, across all divisions, acquisitions, and products of Focus Group.

The purpose of this position is to support the creation, production, and tracking of Performance, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Effectiveness metrics across the Support and Delivery functions, providing extensive exposure to the company's operations.

This role is key to providing the board of directors with analysis to highlight performance, trends, concerns, and achievements.

The role is based in the HQ offices in Shoreham-by-Sea, with the possibility to work from home 2 days a week.

Responsibilities:

• Support data-driven decision-making across the Operations function by providing insights and analytics.
• Manipulate, analyze, and interpret complex data sets.
• Create data dashboards, graphs, and visualizations to support the business.
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to support data ingestion and modeling projects.
• Provide critical business analysis to the board of Directors.
• Respond to reports and queries promptly.
• Analyze statistical information and identify trends.
• Contribute to the ongoing development of analytics capabilities within the business.

Requirements:

• Proficiency with Power BI or similar visualization tools.
• Experience supporting a business function with data analysis to aid decision-making.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work with large data sets.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ambitious, inquisitive, team-oriented, with a proactive attitude.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with star schema and multi-dimensional data modeling.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other data analysis languages.
• Experience with DBT and/or Snowflake.
