London South Bank University is recruiting for the post of Exam Coordinator within our Student Operations Department. This department supports students from admission to graduation, managing key operations and systems.

This position offers the opportunity to lead and manage exam arrangements, including recruiting, training, and allocating invigilators, working collaboratively with LSBU Employment. The postholder will be the main contact for exams, ensuring smooth operations during in-person and online exam weeks.

You will facilitate communication between stakeholders, handling sensitive matters in a fast-paced environment, and provide accurate information regarding marks preparation and delivery.

You will manage the Exam Supervisor, including recruitment, induction, appraisals, mentoring, training, workload allocation, and leave approval.

About You: We seek candidates with:

  • Extensive experience as a team leader/manager in education, leading, managing, and motivating teams with excellent customer service skills.
  • Experience in creating and reviewing university policies, procedures, regulations, and applying them effectively.
  • Experience in implementing reporting requirements, using data for decision-making, and liaising with service providers to highlight trends and suggest improvements.
  • Ability to plan, prioritize, and organize workload proactively, approaching challenges creatively and flexibly.

The ideal candidate will be degree-educated, highly motivated, and skilled at building strong relationships with stakeholders such as Schools, Departments, and students.
