Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst at Healthcare Business Solutions. We offer and provide numerous healthcare-based solutions to a variety of clientele. Whether it be patients, clinicians, or corporate businesses, we are always innovative. We consistently provide tomorrow’s solutions, today.

As a Business Intelligence Analyst you will work in the Business Intelligence (BI) team, which sits within the technology department. Your line manager will be the BI Manager. Your primary responsibility will be for creating and updating reports in Power BI for internal and external rightsholders.

Responsibilities
  • Data Collection & Management: Assist in gathering and organising data from various sources, including platform data and internal databases. Ensure data integrity and quality through meticulous cleaning and preparation.
  • Reporting & Visualization: Create and update clear and concise reports, dashboards, and visualisations (e.g., charts, graphs) using Power BI to present findings to both technical and non-technical rightsholders.
  • Ad-hoc Support: Respond to data requests from different business units, including operations, product, marketing, and research. Help them understand key metrics and make data-informed decisions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of data sources, metrics, and analytical processes.
  • Communication: Liaising with rightsholders to understand their requirements and action their requests.
  • Automation: Analysing and investigating systems and processes to identify areas for improvement. Improving and automating processes using Power Platform including Power Apps and Power Automate. Working on end-to-end set ups
  • Workload management: Managing your workload including creating, updating, and managing Jira Tickets alongside smaller ad-hoc requests.
Essential Criteria

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING

  • GCSEs including Maths & English at grade C equivalent or higher

  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex data findings to a diverse audience.
  • Collaboration: A team player who can work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Curiosity: A passion for technology, health, and a continuous desire to learn and grow within the field.
  • Proficient within MS Office including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Power Point (1 year)
Desirable

EDUCATION, QUALIFICATION AND TRAINING

  • Degree Educated
  • Degree in STEM or related field
  • Data Analytics qualifications

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience working from home
  • Experience of KPI/SLA reporting
  • Experience with a version control system like Git.
