Job summary

Hafod is seeking a proactive Business Improvement Partner to join the Business Improvement team. The role focuses on driving efficiency, improving customer outcomes, and delivering strategic objectives through continuous improvement, business analysis, and BI expertise.

Based at Hafod’s head office with hybrid working and occasional travel to Hafod services. Requires a full driving licence and access to a vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience in Business Improvement, Process Design, Business Analysis, Change Management, Continuous Improvement or Data Analytics.
• Strong understanding of Lean, Six Sigma, workflow improvement or process automation.
• Experience using data analysis and business intelligence tools (Power BI) to support performance improvement.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations.

What is the role?

We're looking for a proactive and innovative professional to join our Business Improvement team. This role is at the heart of driving positive change across Hafod, helping teams work more efficiently, improve customer outcomes and deliver our strategic objectives

Make a difference every day as a Business Improvement Partner at Hafod.

Working closely with colleagues, managers and senior leaders, you'll identify opportunities for improvement, redesign processes, analyse data and support transformational projects that make a real difference to our customers and communities. You'll act as a trusted partner, bringing specialist expertise in continuous improvement, business analysis and business intelligence to help turn ideas into reality.

This is permanent 36 hours full time vacancy with option to work 9 day fortnight.

This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working, with our Business Improvement team primarily based at our Head Office in Cardiff. Travel across Hafod services may be required as part of the role.

Because this role involves travelling independently across our sites and services, you'll need to hold a full, valid driving licence and have access to a vehicle and need appropriate insurance (for example business use).

What you’ll bring

• Experience in Business Improvement, Process Design, Business Analysis, Change Management, Continuous Improvement or Data Analytics.
• A strong understanding of improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, workflow improvement or process automation.
• Experience using data analysis and business intelligence tools, such as Power BI, to support performance improvement and strategic decision-making.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex information into practical recommendations and outcomes.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
• A passion for innovation, customer-focused improvement and delivering meaningful organisational change..
