Job summary

South Yorkshire Fire & Rescue Service is seeking a Business Fire Safety Inspecting Officer in Barnsley. The role may be filled by someone fully qualified to Level 4 Diploma in Fire Safety (Auditor) or by a candidate on a development pathway to achieve the qualification.

You will inspect businesses and provide fire safety advice to reduce risk in the community. The post requires strong influencing and negotiation skills, the ability to work with diverse groups, and a commitment to saving lives
