About the Opportunity

At Contentful, we are always searching for top candidates to join our global team of Business Development Reps. We are particularly interested in individuals who would like to pursue a career in sales and can work with our Dutch customer base fluently in Dutch.

This position is a key contact point for our Benelux customers (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg) and prospects. It requires an organized and motivated individual to understand how Contentful can facilitate digital transformation and enhance customer experiences. As a Business Development Representative for the region, you will gain experience engaging with customers across various industries, working closely with Regional Sales Executives and support teams to generate new business. This role is ideal for those interested in starting or transitioning into tech sales, providing foundational skills for a successful career.

Part of this opportunity includes participating in our Contentful training program designed to develop highly skilled professionals through hands-on learning and skill development.

Please note: this is an onsite role.

What to expect?
  • Lead generation within the Benelux market (Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg)
  • Deepening knowledge of customers, industries, and Contentful’s solutions
  • Proactively reaching out to new prospects
  • Engaging in lead generation activities such as research on LinkedIn, outbound prospecting, calling, emailing, and social outreach
  • Collaborating with Account Executives to hand off qualified prospects
  • Achieving pipeline targets regularly
  • Building relationships with key decision-makers across industries
