Job Description:

We are seeking a self-driven, polished individual enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our rapidly growing company. The primary responsibility of the BDR is securing appointments for apexanalytix sales representatives and supporting them to convert opportunities to closure. The BDR will also prospect and generate leads to introduce apexanalytix’s services to decision makers, gathering information on potential needs. Most leads are generated from cold calls, so we seek a go-getter, persistent in connecting with prospects. Compensation rewards achievement of sales appointment and closure goals. Appointments are generated mainly from cold calls, marketing campaigns, and industry events. The BDR will work with and update a CRM database. This is a remote role in the UK, requiring fluency in German.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conducting cold calls to potential clients to generate leads and appointments.
  • Following up on marketing campaigns.
  • Creating targeted campaigns and working with marketing to convert prospects.
  • Using social networks, directories, and web searches for prospecting.
  • Responding to inquiries from inbound channels.
  • Researching target accounts and maintaining a knowledge base.
  • Working with Sales to close accounts.
  • Promoting attendance at conferences and events.
  • Maintaining accurate CRM data and preparing for meetings.

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of basic sales principles and processes.
  • Understanding of apexanalytix’s value proposition and industry.
  • Ability to identify decision-makers and communicate solutions effectively.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years sales or business experience preferred, especially in technology sales targeting accounts payable or similar.
  • Experience with executive appointment setting is a plus.

Skills and Characteristics:

  • Fluency in German (written and verbal).
  • Ability to identify and understand client needs.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Strong relationship-building skills.
  • Resilience and positive attitude towards rejection.

Software Skills:

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Persistent and proactive work ethic.
  • Must have a telephone line.
