Job Description:

We are seeking a self-driven, polished individual enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our rapidly growing company. The primary responsibility of the BDR is securing appointments for apexanalytix sales representatives and supporting them to convert opportunities to closure. The BDR will also prospect and generate leads to introduce apexanalytix’s services and product suite to decision makers at prospect companies, gathering information on software and service needs. Most leads are generated from cold calls, so we seek a go-getter, persistent in connecting with prospective clients. The compensation rewards the BDR for achieving sales appointment and closure goals. Appointments are generated mainly from cold calls, marketing campaigns, and industry event follow-up. The BDR will work with and update a CRM database. This is a remote role within the UK, requiring fluency in German.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct cold calls to potential clients to gather contact information for new leads and set appointments for sales VPs.
  • Follow up on marketing campaigns promptly.
  • Create and execute targeted campaigns in collaboration with marketing to convert prospects into customers.
  • Use social networking sites, business directories, and web searches to prospect new leads.
  • Respond to inquiries from the 800 number and website.
  • Research target accounts, add new prospects within revenue thresholds, and build a knowledge base of current and historic account information.
  • Collaborate with Sales Executives to close accounts.
  • Promote and facilitate attendance at conferences and events.
  • Maintain an accurate database of leads, contacts, accounts, and opportunities.
Requirements:
  • Basic knowledge of sales principles, processes, and methods.
  • Ability to understand apexanalytix’s value proposition fully.
  • Knowledge of industry, market, buying behaviors, competitors, and solutions.
  • Understanding of how businesses market and propose services to prospects.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of sales or business experience preferred, especially in technology sales targeting Accounts Payable or similar.
  • Experience with executive appointment setting agencies is a plus.
  • Patience and persistence in B2B executive calling.
Skills and Characteristics:
  • Fluency in German (written and verbal).
  • Ability to identify decision-makers, understand their needs, and communicate value.
  • Must have a driver’s license.
  • Ability to build relationships within and outside the company.
  • Constructive response to rejection or frustration.
Software Skills:
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems.
  • Effective verbal communication skills.
  • Positive, persistent attitude.
  • Physical telephone line required.
  • Self-motivated and enthusiastic about contributing to company growth.
