Job summary

Albert Goodman is seeking a Business Development Manager to grow our relationship-led approach across our professional services network. You will split time between supporting our Business Recovery & Insolvency team and expanding partnerships across the South West, with the role based in Taunton or Bristol.

You’ll build relationships with referral partners, support growth through accountants, solicitors, lenders, and other introducers, and report progress to the BD Director.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in a business development or relationship management role.
• Experience within recovery and insolvency referral network is desirable.
• Strong networking and relationship-building skills.
• Confident communicator capable of building rapport with introducers at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with referral partners to generate a steady flow of introductions.
• Collaborate with the Business Recovery & Insolvency team to engage referral sources.
• Identify target sectors and referral sources with the Business Development Director.
• Provide regular progress updates on targets and partner engagement.
• Align business development activity with wider marketing and profile-raising initiatives.
• Track and report on activity, pipeline and conversion using our CRM system.
• Attend networking events and industry functions to identify opportunities.
