Business Development Manager - Roofing & solar manufacturing

Location: Newport - Hybrid structure

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 + OTE of £50,000-£60,000 + All expenses paid + Pension + Progression + Bonus

Are you from a strong background in sales within roofing/construction looking to get into the renewables sector? Are you seeking a role where you can directly impact the company's growth and increase your earnings through bonuses?

Are you aiming to advance your sales career towards roles like Senior Business Development Manager?

The company specializes in providing innovative renewable energy solar solutions to clients in the commercial and industrial sectors. With global investment, they are expanding their success, focusing on photovoltaics integrated with building architecture.

The role suits someone with previous sales experience and knowledge in roofing, particularly in generating new business for roofing systems. It offers a hybrid work structure with minimal travel, mainly once a week for client visits, utilizing systems like Teams. You should be self-sufficient, able to manage your workload, and confident in high-volume cold calling as well as handling inbound leads.

This position is ideal for a motivated salesperson in roofing looking to grow their career and earnings.

The role includes:
  • Selling roofing products to clients across the UK
  • Travel across the UK with a split between home-based work and client meetings
  • Full sales lifecycle management
  • Converting outbound/inbound calls and leads
  • Working Monday - Friday, 9-5
