Job Description:

Are you an engineer with hands-on experience in technical roles? Are you seeking to leverage your technical knowledge in a commercial, client-facing role?

This is an opportunity to add credibility to the sales team, which our client is eager to develop. Explore a new avenue in the renewables sector as a Business Development Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop long-term strategic relationships with clients and channels in the Renewables sector.
  • Lead technical proposals and bids for the Business Development team.
  • Seek new opportunities by targeting potential customers, regions, and projects.
  • Assist in devising and executing the sales strategy.
  • Coordinate with the Delivery team for smooth project handovers.

About you:

Ideally based in the UK.

Hold an engineering degree or equivalent, preferably working towards a Chartered or Incorporated qualification.

Key skills include:

  • Engineering degree or equivalent, with a goal towards chartered status.
  • Experience with load monitoring equipment or a technical engineering background.
  • Experience in UK Renewables, particularly Wind, Oil, and Gas sectors.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Proficiency in IT (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and willingness to learn new applications.
  • Full UK Driving License.
