Join the Team as a Business Development Manager - Private Client

Are you a dynamic and ambitious Business Development professional with a passion for the Private Client sector? A rapidly expanding and entrepreneurial law firm is looking for a talented individual to join their Business Development and Marketing team.

The Role: As a Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the business development and marketing strategy for our Private Client practice. This includes Trusts & Tax Planning, Estate & Trust Administration, Family Law, Private Wealth Disputes, Art & Luxury Assets, Immigration, Residential Real Estate, and Family Office services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Head of Department, Marketing Partner, and other partner leads to develop and execute BD and marketing plans.
  • Drive intermediary and client-focused initiatives, including targeting, relationship management, and service delivery.
  • Lead partners in articulating excellent client service and devise strategies for delivery.
  • Maximize opportunities for internal cross-selling and collaboration.
  • Oversee budget allocation and ensure optimal use of resources.
  • Lead pitch processes and drive market opportunities.
  • Increase press coverage and manage relationships with external market participants.
  • Establish efficient BD processes and assess ROI across activities.

What the firm is looking for:

  • At least 7 years of experience in a professional services environment, ideally with knowledge of the Private Client sector.
  • Strong experience in a comparable role within professional services; law firm experience is highly desirable.
  • A confident leader and strategic thinker with credibility and influence among senior stakeholders.
  • Passionate, enthusiastic, and committed to upholding professional standards.
  • A creative thinker with excellent writing style and campaign development skills.
