Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3-7 years of sales experience in the merchant services, card payments, payment gateway, or parking managements systems industries
  • Experience cold calling and lead generation preferred
  • Experience selling unattended parking systems or parking equipment highly encouraged
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high attention to detail
  • The drive and ambition to succeed within the payments industry
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Experience with the full sales cycle
  • Experience working on RFPs is beneficial
  • Right to work with the UK
  • Must be self-motivated and able to self-manage
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office package
  • Professional proficiency in one or more European languages (French, Spanish, German Portuguese, Dutch) would be ideal but not mandatory
  • University degreed in Business/Sales Management preferred but not mandatory

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Manage and build relationships with senior business leaders
  • Demonstrate and share knowledge of payment gateways, merchant services rates, card payments, card processing, and the overall payments industry landscape
  • Driving new business in the unattended vertical focusing on parking management systems
  • Assisting customers with queries
  • New business cold calling
  • Push expansion into Europe for partnership and new business
