We're delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join one of the UK's foremost suppliers of premium food products and ingredients as a Foodservice National Account Manager. Known for their reputation within the industry, our client has established widespread recognition through a multitude of industry and supplier awards. With an established presence throughout the UK, they have achieved nationwide distribution across the foodservice market, notably within national restaurant chains, hotels, contract catering establishments, and travel sectors. Following continued business growth, the business is seeking Business Development Managers to cover the North of England and the Midlands.
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for driving profitable growth across your designated region. Your focus will be on managing relationships with hospitality customers such as restaurants, hotels, pubs and dining establishments. Key areas include Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, York & Leeds. In addition to nurturing existing accounts, you will proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in line with the company’s strategic objectives. You will collaborate closely with the wider Sales and Technical teams to ensure customers receive the highest level of service and support.
To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in sales and account management, with a proven track record of success in the foodservice or hospitality sectors. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, along with the ability to build and maintain long-lasting customer relationships. You should be highly organised, driven, and passionate about exceeding customer expectations while achieving sales targets.
£40,000 – £50,000 salary, up to £16,000 bonus (paid quarterly), Company car (Hybrid/Electric), Pension & benefits.
