Business Development Manager - Apprenticeships & Bootcamps

Location: Manchester

Salary: £30,000 + commission based on targets

Hours: 37.5 per week

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to lead our growth across apprenticeship programmes and Skills Bootcamps – a chance to make a meaningful impact across Greater Manchester and beyond.

The Role

As our Apprenticeships and Bootcamps Business Development Manager, you will build partnerships and shape futures. You’ll forge relationships with employers, connect people to training opportunities, and help bridge skills gaps in key sectors.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead in securing new business and developing employer partnerships.
  • Design and promote bespoke training solutions.
  • Achieve recruitment, revenue, and engagement targets.
  • Deliver engaging presentations and workshops.
  • Collaborate with academic, marketing, and industry teams.
  • Monitor industry trends, funding updates, and developments.

  • Passionate and persuasive communicator with experience in training, apprenticeships, or education sales.
  • Proven success in securing new business and managing pipelines.
  • Knowledge of apprenticeship standards, levy systems, and Skills Bootcamps.
