Job summary

Bimplus in Hertfordshire is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager with a proven track record in the UK construction sector, specifically demolition, groundworks and RC subcontracting. You will drive opportunities, develop key relationships and work with Directors to grow turnover from the regional office.

The successful candidate will have an established industry network, strong commercial acumen and the ability to secure major projects.

Qualifications

Proven track record in business development within the UK construction industry, with demonstrable experience in demolition, groundworks and RC subcontracting sectors.
Strong network of contacts and a good understanding of procurement and tendering processes for major construction projects.

Responsibilities

Provide a steady stream of tender opportunities to increase turnover and profitability in line with the business plan.
Promote the image of the organisation within the market.
Identify new business opportunities reflecting the business objectives.
Identify key decision makers within clients and professionals for repeat business.
Review potential clients and their work programmes to forecast opportunities.
Ensure that the value of new opportunities supports targeted growth.
Maintain high market visibility by attending networking and construction events.
