Job description

Location: Hemel Hempstead (This is an office-based role where the candidate is required to be in the office 5 days per week)

Working Hours: Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:30; 1 hour for lunch. Total working hours: 37.5 hours

Company operates flexible working times; arrive anytime from 08:30 – 10:00 and finish any time after 16:00.

Salary: £35,000 - £65,000 (depending upon experience)

Start Date: As soon as possible

The Role

We present a unique opportunity for a highly adept professional with excellent commercial acumen and a background in business development and finance. The main purpose of this position is to forge business relationships in the CIS region, grow existing business and identify new commercial opportunities. You will work alongside senior management in a supportive environment where you will become an integral part of our success story.

Operating internationally, you will be responsible for 4 or 5 existing CIS accounts, becoming an expert in these markets and helping drive the business.

  • Cultivating strong relationships with existing and new business accounts
  • Identifying new growth opportunities
  • Developing partnerships with stakeholders to enhance product sales positioning
  • Managing Cyclogest brand, including strategic planning and market penetration
  • Maintaining in-depth market knowledge, including competitor analysis
  • Creating action plans to meet targets and increase revenue
  • Attending conferences for collaborations and partner relationships
  • Identifying leads and exploring new markets for expansion
  • Negotiating and executing contracts with accounts
  • Assisting with ad hoc business projects as needed
  • Collaborating with regulatory, marketing, and logistics teams
  • Developing business plans
  • Achieving sales and profit targets, reviewing monthly
  • Closely manage various financial planning, forecasting and budgeting elements of the business
  • Producing monthly financial management reports

Requirements

  • Degree holder in life science, business, economics or finance
  • Business development or finance experience
  • Ability to build strong professional relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proficiency in Russian or related CIS languages
  • Team player with commercial mindset, aiming for business growth
  • Demonstrated commercial and customer-focused experience
