Job description

Responsibilities
  1. Course Promotion: Identify and target potential clients, including individuals, corporations, educational institutions, and government agencies, to promote our portfolio of courses. Showcase the benefits and value proposition of our offerings to drive interest and engagement.
  2. Client Engagement: Initiate contact with prospects through various channels, including cold calling, emails, and networking events. Understand their learning needs, career objectives, and budget constraints, and recommend suitable courses to meet their requirements.
  3. Consultative Selling: Adopt a consultative approach to business development and sales, engaging in meaningful conversations with prospects to assess their learning goals and challenges. Provide personalized recommendations and guidance on courses and Programmes selection to ensure alignment with their objectives.
  4. Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with clients, serving as a trusted advisor throughout the business development and sales process. Address any concerns or objections, provide timely assistance, and follow up on inquiries to nurture leads and drive conversions.
  5. Business Development and Sales Closure: Close deals and secure course enrollments by effectively presenting pricing options, payment terms, and enrollment procedures. Overcome objections, negotiate terms when necessary, and facilitate smooth transitions to course delivery teams.
  6. Business Development and Sales Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of business development and sales activities, including prospecting efforts, client interactions, and deal progressions, using CRM software. Monitor business development and sales pipeline, track key metrics, and provide regular updates to management on business development and sales forecasts and performance.
  7. Market Research: Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and market demands related to course business development and sales. Conduct market research and analysis to identify new opportunities, emerging trends, and customer preferences.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with marketing, course development, and customer support teams to align business development and sales efforts with organisational goals and strategies. Provide feedback on customer needs and market insights to inform product development and marketing initiatives.
Requirements
  • A good team player and results oriented.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management, preferably within the education industry.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding business development and sales targets and KPIs.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Self‑motivated and results‑oriented, with a drive to succeed in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, manage time effectively, and work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
