Business Development Manager

Circa £60k base + bonus

Are you an experienced, mortgage professional, who thrives on developing relationships and really offering a first-class experience to lenders?

Our client, a Fintech in the mortgage space, offer an innovative platform for mortgage brokers and lenders, creating a smooth affordability decision process to brokers, alongside valuable insight into mortgage products to assist lenders with their product development and pricing models. As their BDM, you will be a central figure in shaping the company’s lender strategy and the evolution of their product offering. You'll own and grow relationships with key lending partners and collaborating closely with the product and tech teams to translate market needs into smart, scalable solutions.

Based in London, the role of Business Development Manager will cover the whole of the UK, however they would like this individual to be at head office circa 1/2 days per week (diary dependent).

Duties of the Business Development Manager will include:

  • Own and manage client relationships with UK mortgage lenders
  • Negotiate and manage commercial and partnership agreements
  • Drive commercial outcomes through existing propositions, new propositions and deeper lender engagement
  • Work with the tech team to design and deliver lender-facing solutions
  • Monitor market trends and competitor offerings to ensure our company remains ahead of the curve

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced BDM or Relationship Manager, wanting to expand their skillset within mortgages. The successful individual will posses a wealth of experience in either business development or relationship management, and this would have been gained within the mortgage industry.

Along with a competitive base salary, our client offers a bonus scheme of up to 20%, 30 days annual leave and more.
