Job summary

A leading electronics manufacturing company is seeking a Director of New Business to enhance their growth strategy. This remote role involves onboarding new clients, managing business development initiatives, and fostering relationships with stakeholders, requiring travel as necessary. About the Company - Chemigraphic has been helping our customers deliver products that profoundly impact people’s lives for more than 50 years. We’re a global team of Engineers, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain experts that partner with our customers to bring their products to life through inspired innovation and customer service excellence in Electronic Contract Manufacturing.

About the Role - The role will further support the business with onboarding new customers to achieve its growth strategy by identifying opportunities within our target markets through to closing. The role is remote, however does require travel as required and ideally we would like to see you on-site to build relationships with the internal teams.

At Chemigraphic we are all hands on and dedicated to supporting the customer by adding value, the role must support value add proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Focused business development activities, within identified sectors.
  • Pipeline management – Manage your pipeline targets aligned with our core, strengths, market sectors and drive momentum with desire. Own the process from lead generation to closing.
  • Oversee preparation for quotations and present solutions to target and growth customers.
  • Identify opportunities for new capabilities/services and enablers required to execute our strategy.
  • Sector knowledge in either Medical, High-End Industrial, Space or Cyber-Security.
  • Customer Service Excellence - Represent the voice of the customer throughout.
  • Relationships – Build and sustain multi-level relationships with key customers.
  • Attend industry events and support marketing activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 3 - 4 years' prior industry-related business development experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
  • Focused and goal-oriented
  • EMS Industry experience
