Founder and MD of gdtalent ltd and SFRT Solutions Ltd., two exclusive executive search businesses and training solutions intermediaries.

We are recruiting on behalf of our client which sits within the learning solutions industry.

They have a requirement for a hungry and ambitious outbound sales specialist who is a natural and persistent “hunter”. Someone with the tenacity to try different approaches to secure new business leads.

A little more about the role.

You will be responsible for generating new leads for bespoke learning solutions for global clients and prospects utilising existing and curated data sources. You will undertake high levels of outbound activity across multiple channels to uncover leads which can be passed on to the Senior Relationship Managers to close.

You will be an integral part of the team as you generate a high volume of high-quality leads.

Your efforts will create real growth for our business and you will be essential to our expansion into new and existing markets.

Key responsibilities

  • Adopt a structured, campaign-based approach to reach new and existing target markets using multiple channels including LinkedIn, e-mail and telephone
  • Conduct follow-up activity to support business development and marketing campaigns
  • Research target accounts to identify the appropriate personae for outreach
  • Record all activity accurately and promptly in the CRM
  • You will be expected to develop a suitable knowledge of banking & finance and learning & development to be able to have credible client conversations

Knowledge, Experience and Skills

  • Successful track record in B2B business development (a few years is fine)
  • Proven ability to quickly build rapport with prospects, demonstrating credibility and quickly earning their trust
  • Pro-active approach to conducting outbound client communications
  • Excellent business English skills with an ability to write simply, clearly and concisely
  • Excellent organisation, prioritisation and time-management skills
  • Target and results-driven
  • Persistence and resilience
  • Good working knowledge of salesforce.com

The role requires you to be in the London office 1 or 2 days per week and the salary on offer sits at the £35-40k range. Sales commissions on top. There is also a good benefits package PLUS it is expected that you would excel in the role within 2 years and be promoted.
