Business Development Manager (Concerto)

Bellrock Technologies seeks a proactive, highly motivated Business Development Manager who excels in a 'hunter' role focused on identifying, formulating, and qualifying new business opportunities. Unlike traditional sales roles, this position is dedicated to generating and nurturing leads, which are then transitioned to our Solutions team for closure.

You will target large, strategic clients in sectors such as banking, professional services, legal firms, pension and investment funds, the public sector, healthcare, and organizations with large or complex estates. Your role will involve leveraging market intelligence, relationship-building, and strategic insight to generate opportunities aligned with Bellrock's strengths and growth ambitions.

This is a highly visible role focused on driving new business opportunities and pipeline growth.

How will you be the change?

Every role contributes to providing peace of mind to our customers. As a Business Development Manager, you'll do this by:

  • Proactively identifying and engaging prospective clients, positioning Bellrock’s capabilities to create qualified, strategic opportunities.
  • Qualifying leads into actionable opportunities, ensuring alignment with our client profile and objectives before passing them to the Solutions team.
  • Using a strategic approach to identify new clients within targeted sectors.
  • Representing Bellrock on social media platforms like LinkedIn to build your network and enhance our market profile.
  • Attending industry events to establish relationships and identify new opportunities.
  • Tracking and managing prospect interactions using HubSpot CRM.
  • Gathering market insights to refine targeting strategies.
  • Collaborating with Marketing and Solutions teams to articulate our value proposition and nurture opportunities.
  • Communicating pipeline status and opportunities to senior management, providing insights and recommendations.
What does it take?

If you're ready to energize our growth as a Business Development Manager, you'll need:

  • At least 5 years of experience in a proactive, 'hunter' sales role within the software/SaaS or technology solutions sector.
  • A proven track record of generating pipeline value and engaging senior decision-makers.
  • Strong prospecting and outreach skills, with the ability to position complex solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Sector experience in banking, professional services, healthcare, higher education, transport, investment funds, or large estate organizations.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Analytical skills to utilize market intelligence effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate value propositions and technical features compellingly.
  • Ability to qualify and transition leads effectively.
  • An understanding of commercial drivers and alignment of client needs with company capabilities.
  • Degree or equivalent professional experience, with strong communication skills.
  • Experience in the built environment, Facilities Management, Property, Asset Management, or PropTech sectors is advantageous.
