Business Development Manager (Concerto)

Bellrock Technologies is seeking a proactive and highly motivated Business Development Manager who thrives in a 'hunter' role, focused on identifying, qualifying, and generating new business opportunities. Your role will be dedicated to lead generation and nurturing, which will be transitioned to our Solutions team for closure.

You will target large, strategically important clients in sectors such as banking, professional services, legal, pension and investment funds, public sector, healthcare, and organizations with large or complex estates. Your success will rely on market intelligence, relationship-building, and strategic insight to generate opportunities aligned with Bellrock's strengths and growth goals.

This is a highly visible role, focused on driving new business and building a strong pipeline.

How will you be the change?

Every role is vital in providing peace of mind to our customers. As a Business Development Manager, you will:

  • Identify, research, and engage prospective clients, effectively presenting Bellrock’s capabilities to generate qualified opportunities.
  • Develop leads into actionable opportunities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals before passing to the Solutions team.
  • Use market insights to identify new clients within targeted sectors.
  • Represent Bellrock on social media and at industry events, building networks and company reputation.
  • Use HubSpot CRM to track interactions and pipeline status accurately.
  • Share market insights to refine strategies and maximize efforts.
  • Collaborate with marketing and solutions teams to articulate value propositions and nurture opportunities.
  • Qualify leads thoroughly before transition.
  • Report pipeline status and provide strategic recommendations to senior management.

What does it take?

If you're ready to energize our business, you need:

  • At least 5 years’ experience in proactive business development within software/SaaS or tech solutions.
  • A proven track record of generating and nurturing leads, engaging decision-makers, and building pipeline value.
  • Strong prospecting skills, with ability to position complex tech solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Sector experience in banking, professional services, healthcare, higher education, transport, investment funds, or large estate organizations.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
  • Strong analytical skills and market insight capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to translate technical features into client benefits.
  • Ability to qualify and transition leads effectively.
  • Understanding of commercial drivers and business needs alignment.
  • Degree or equivalent experience, with excellent communication skills.
  • Experience in the built environment or PropTech sectors is a plus.

Working arrangements
