Optimised, a UK-based specialist in energy, utilities and sustainability, is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow our Utility Management division. The role is hybrid with UK travel and reporting to the Head of New Business.
You will own the full sales lifecycle, build relationships with senior stakeholders, and develop value-led proposals with our experts to secure new business and drive growth. A passion for sustainability and net zero is essential.

This is a consultative sales role focused on winning new Utility Management clients across the UK.
This role can be performed from home with some attendance at the local Optimised office and travel to potential client sites and events as required.
Reporting to the Head of New Business, you’ll take ownership of the full sales lifecycle - from identifying and developing opportunities through to negotiation, close and handover into delivery.
You’ll have the autonomy to build relationships, shape opportunities and influence commercial growth, supported by a dedicated new business, business generation and marketing team
You’ll engage with senior stakeholders across finance, procurement, sustainability and operations, helping organisations improve how they manage energy, cost and carbon.
