Optimised is seeking an organised Energy Recharge Analyst to join our Recharging team within the Utility Management division. You will enter and validate utility invoices and meter reads, create recharges for tenants, and produce detailed client reports to support accurate service delivery.

You’ll work with the Metering and Recharging teams, help develop robust methodologies, and assist with onboarding new clients while maintaining high standards of accuracy and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of professional experience performing Utility Bureau or Recharging activities within the Industrial & Commercial utilities market.
• Good knowledge of metering.
• Strong understanding of all components of an electricity, gas and water bill.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills - with suppliers, clients and internal stakeholders.
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel - manipulate data, formula creation.
• Customer Service Experience - strong investigation skills and ability to follow queries end-to-end.
• Proactive attitude with drive, energy and passion to the role.
• Eligibility to work in the UK.

We're looking for an organised and detail-focused Energy Recharge Analyst to join our Recharging team within our Utility Management division, helping us deliver accurate, efficient and high-quality services for our clients.

As our recharging services continue to grow, this role will play an important part in ensuring utility and energy data is accurately captured, validated and processed, supporting the smooth operation of tenant recharging activities. You'll work across a range of processes, from invoice and meter data validation through to recharging mobilisations, change of tenancy activity and the production of detailed client reports.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys working with data, takes pride in accuracy and is motivated by delivering a reliable service to clients. You'll work closely with colleagues across the Recharging and wider Utility Management teams, while also supporting our Sales Team by identifying and assisting with new recharging opportunities.

The Opportunity

As a Recharging Analyst within Optimised, you will be part of the Recharging team, within the wider Utility Management team, responsible for providing a high level of customer satisfaction through accurate and effective service delivery.

The role will include entering and validating utility and energy invoices and meter reads in our data management system, recharging mobilisations, creating recharges for tenants, processing change of tenancies, creating various detailed reports for our clients and supporting the Sales Team with recharging opportunities.

You’ll take the lead on recharging mobilisations, working closely with our Metering and Recharging teams to develop robust recharging methodologies from building schematics and meter schedules through to client-facing documentation and internal processes. You'll act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to colleagues and clients on recharging best practice and relevant industry regulations, while overseeing key processes including tariff development, central plant apportionment, meter read verification and service charge reporting. You'll also support new client onboarding and help strengthen the quality, systems and processes within the wider Recharging team.

Day to day, you'll manage the delivery of accurate and timely tenant recharges, from producing invoices and payment batches to calculating budgets, reviewing on-account charges and producing portfolio-level reports. You'll work with multiple sources of meter and billing data, validating electricity, gas, water, heating and cooling invoices, investigating anomalies and resolving issues with suppliers. You'll also manage client and tenant queries, including changes of tenancy, ensuring issues are followed through to resolution and delivering a responsive, high-quality service. Alongside this, you'll keep your industry knowledge up to date and share your expertise with the wider team.

At least 2 years of professional experience either performing Utility Bureau or Recharging activities within the Industrial & Commercial utilities market as well as a good knowledge of metering.
