My client is a leading international law firm with a prominent litigation practice and a growing presence in London. With more than 500 lawyers across London and the US, the firm advises on complex, high-profile matters that frequently span jurisdictions and markets.
This is a broad Business Development and Marketing Manager role supporting partners across Investigations, Compliance and Defence, International Arbitration and Financial Services Disputes. The successful candidate will help shape business development activity across these practices, combining strategic advice with direct involvement in pitches, client development, market intelligence and profile-raising initiatives.
Based in a London office of around 40 employees and partners, you will work closely with senior lawyers and see the direct impact of your contribution. You will also have access to the resources and expertise of the firm’s wider international business development and marketing team. The role offers varied, commercially focused work and the opportunity to bring structure, insight and momentum to the way partners develop relationships and pursue new business.
You will have experience operating as a BD & Marketing Manager, gained within a law firm or wider professional services environment. You should be comfortable working directly with partners, managing complex pitches and moving between strategic discussion and detailed delivery.
Strong writing, research and analytical skills are essential, together with the judgement to manage competing priorities and maintain progress with busy senior stakeholders. You will be commercially aware, organised and proactive, with the confidence to offer constructive advice and build effective relationships across an international firm.
