Job description

This isn’t a Business Development Manager role where you’ll simply inherit a plan and follow it or just be sales sales sales. We want you to help shape what comes next by growing what we have and where we would like to excel.

You’ll lead our growth agenda, spotting opportunities, challenging the status quo and turning ambitious ideas into sustainable services that make a real difference to our customers and communities.

One day you could be working from home developing the financial model for a new service; the next, you might be in the office with our Executive Leadership Team, visiting one of our sites or meeting potential partners.

Wherever you’re working, you’ll be at the heart of our future growth.

From acquisitions and new markets to funding, tenders, partnerships and new services, you’ll build a pipeline of opportunities worth up to £10m, combining strong commercial thinking with our social purpose.

We’re looking for someone who can create something from nothing. You’ll spot potential, build relationships, develop compelling business cases and bring people together to turn great ideas into commercially viable opportunities.

If you’re commercially minded, socially driven and excited by the challenge of building something new, we’d love to hear from you.

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALTHOUGH WE ARE FLEXIBLE WITH REGARDS TO OUR WORKING ARRANGEMENTS THIS ROLE MUST BE VISIBLE AT OUR SITES AROUND SOUTH YORKSHIRE AND LINCOLNSHIRE. WE THEREFORE ASK THAT YOU ONLY APPLY IF YOU CAN COMMUTE AS AND WHEN NEEDED TO THESE SITES ON A FAIRLY REGULAR BASIS.
