Business Development Manager
£40,000 - £60,000 (OTE - £90,000 - £110,000) + Car Allowance + Holiday + Pension + Medical Cash Plan
UK - 1 day per month in the office (Yeovil)

If you're an ambitious Business Development Manager or experienced technology sales professional with a passion for connectivity, cloud, networks, and telecoms, this opportunity could be the next exciting step in your career.

You will join fast-growing technology provider, the company delivers end-to-end solutions across Connectivity, IT, Networks, Cloud, Software, Wi-Fi, and Telecoms. With a strong focus on the hospitality sector, it partners with leading vendors to provide innovative, scalable solutions backed by expert support and a consultative approach.

This role focuses on identifying, consulting, and securing new business opportunities within the UK hospitality sector - from independent hotels to high-end boutique and branded groups. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on sales execution and offers the autonomy to shape your territory and client base.

In this role, you will work closely with a team of technology experts to ensure the solutions proposed are fully scoped and deliverable. Your consultative sales approach, deep understanding of partner ecosystems, and ability to build lasting client relationships will be key to your success.

The Role

  • Develop and execute a structured new business strategy targeting hospitality clients
  • Generate and qualify leads through proactive networking, referrals, industry events, and research
  • Build a strong, consultative sales pipeline and convert opportunities into recurring revenue
  • Maintain accurate records and sales forecasting in Salesforce
  • Provide clear project handovers to internal delivery and support teams


The Person

  • Proven experience in B2B technology sales, ideally within the networking, or IT services space selling into hotels
  • Strong understanding of at least two of the following: Connectivity, IT Networks, Cloud, Telecoms, or Software
  • Ideally has knowledge of or exposure to vendors such as Gamma, Expo-E, HP, Aruba, Cisco, Ruckus, Mitel, NEC, or cybersecurity providers
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills
  • Full UK driving license required
