Business Development Manager

Location:

Hybrid - Primarily Work from Home (6-8 days per month in office - London or Bedfordshire, TBC)

Contract:

Full-time

Salary:

?£50,000 per annum OTE £75,000

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver new business sales primarily in the UK by selling SaaS screening services to meet clients' business needs and operational objectives.

Sales Representative Job Duties:
  • Sell EBC products in the UK market.
  • Report on new innovations that will add value to products and increase sales.
  • Find new and innovative ways of meeting business targets and objectives.
  • Contribute to the sales team by meeting deadlines and goals.
  • Travel to meet potential clients.
  • Support team goals by contributing to a team atmosphere.
  • Act as a liaison between marketing, new business, and account management.
  • Set up presentations and ensure products are configured for demonstration effectively.
  • Provide handover documentation to the onboarding team and account management.
  • Invent new ideas for product promotion.
  • Support account management in resolving customer complaints related to products and sales.
  • Provide written materials to encourage product purchases.
  • Analyze the competition and report on SWOT to maintain market position.
  • Attend events to promote the product.
  • Engage customers by identifying their needs and resolving concerns.
  • Follow internal administration and accounting processes, suggesting improvements.
About You:
  • Experience in business development and acquiring new business.
  • Understanding of the sales process.
  • Ability to present and demonstrate to prospects.
  • Proficient in CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot), Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
  • Confident in using LinkedIn and Sales Navigator for research and contact management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage priorities.
  • Positive, adaptable, and solutions-focused attitude.
  • Remote-first role, with up to 8 days per month in the office or onsite (London or Bedfordshire, TBC).
