Moorland Recruitment are working with a well-established foodservice business to hire a Business Development Manager to grow sales across Surrey and the surrounding area. The role focuses on new business and account management, selling into restaurants, hotels, leisure venues and event caterers.

You will win new customers, develop existing accounts, grow sales and margin, follow up inbound leads, and build long-term relationships while managing your own territory and sales pipeline.

Formación

• Experience in foodservice, hospitality, or wholesale is advantageous.
• Strong prospecting, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel within Surrey and surrounding areas.

Responsabilidades

• Win new customers and expand the client base.
• Develop and grow existing accounts to increase sales and margin.
• Grow sales and margin by targeting key segments (restaurants, hotels, leisure venues, event caterers).
• Follow up on inbound leads to convert opportunities.
• Build long-term relationships with customers and key decision-makers.
• Manage your own territory and sales pipeline to hit targets.

The role will focus on both new business and account management, selling into customers including restaurants, hotels, leisure venues and event caterers.

You’ll ideally have experience within foodservice, hospitality, food & drink, wholesale or distribution, although commercially minded chefs will also be considered.
