Aaron Wallis Sales Recruitment is recruiting for a Business Development Executive based in Preston. You will take ownership of the Directors sales pipeline, follow and manage opportunities, and drive expansion across public and private sector clients.

This is not a cold calling role and requires a proactive, results-driven professional. Competitive basic up to £50,000 plus £75,000 OTE and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Experience selling integrated electronic security and safety systems (hardware + software).
• Direct, demonstrable experience in at least one domain: commercial intruder systems, access control, lone worker or lockdown, nurse-call systems.
• Location: Preston office; candidates must live within commutable distance.

The Role

As Business Development Executive you will take ownership of the Directors sales pipeline. You will follow and manage opportunities that he has generated, working hand in hand to progress sales opportunities into profitable business. This is not a cold calling role. The Director will open the door, you will then drive expansion across both public and private sectors. This is a proactive role for a commercial professional who excels at turning opportunities into closed business.

The Candidate

We are seeking a self-motivated "hunter" with a proven track record in any electronic security discipline and a results-oriented mentality.

Requirements:

• Industry Background: Experience selling integrated electronic security and safety systems involving both hardware and software elements.
• Sector Expertise: Direct, demonstrable experience in at least one of the following domains:
• Commercial intruder systems
• Access control systems
• Lone worker or lockdown systems
• Nurse-call systems
• Location: The role is office based in Preston, so candidates need to live within commutable distance
