A well-established international media and events business is looking to hire a driven and ambitious Business Development Executive to join their high-performing sales team. Known for delivering market-leading conferences across a range of specialist sectors, the company offers an excellent platform for professional growth. This is an ideal opportunity for a recent graduate with some sales experience—internships included—who is confident, target-driven, and eager to build a long-term career in B2B sales. The right candidate will be outgoing, relationship-focused, and motivated by success and earning potential, with a genuine interest in the events and conference space.

Your role as a Business Development Executive:

  • Engaging senior-level professionals via phone to promote and secure attendance at leading global events in fast-growing markets
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding monthly sales targets.
  • Generating leads and identifying new sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
  • Communicating the value of event attendance clearly and persuasively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Maintaining an up-to-date CRM and accurate sales pipeline tracking.

About you:

  • At least 6 months’ experience in a sales role, including internships or placement years.
  • Confident, outgoing, and relationship-focused, with strong communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude, resilience, and a strong work ethic.
