Job summary

Union Visual Effects Ltd. is seeking a Business Development Executive to support pitches and bids for high-end film and TV projects.

You will work closely with the Business Development team, Creative Director, Supervisors and the wider studio to develop competitive bids and build strong client relationships. You’ll own bids from initial enquiry to client decision, read scripts to create VFX breakdowns, coordinate studio inputs for accurate bids, and create compelling pitch materials for meetings

Qualifications

• Experience in business development, bidding or a similar role within VFX, film or TV.
• Strong understanding of the VFX process and a genuine interest in film and television.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, particularly in client-facing situations.
• Highly organised, proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Commercially aware with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Own allocated bids from initial enquiry through to client decision.

• Create pitch decks, showreels and client presentations.

• Work with Production and Supervisors to ensure a smooth handover once projects are awarded.
• Identify opportunities to improve bidding processes and workflows.
