The Role:

We’re seeking a commercially driven and highly connected Business Development Director to lead our strategic growth within the data centre market. This is a key leadership role with responsibility for identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a business development strategy tailored to the data centre sector
2. Identify, pursue, and secure new clients and projects across EMEA and other key regions
3. Build strong, long-term relationships with developers, operators, contractors, and other industry stakeholders
4. Work closely with technical teams to shape competitive, innovative proposals
5. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking forums
6. Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new opportunities
7. Lead bid processes and support pre-contract negotiations

About You:

1. Proven track record in business development within the MEP or data centre consultancy environment
2. Deep knowledge of the data centre market, including key players, trends, and technical drivers
3. Strong industry network across developers, operators, and design teams
4. Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
5. Strategic thinker with a hands-on, results-oriented approach
6. Ideally experienced working in a multi-disciplinary or consultancy environment
