Job description

Salary: Negotiable + Car Allowance + Benefits

Hedron Network (Brown & Brown (Europe) Ltd) are growing and developing their team and are looking for an additional Business Development Consultant to join them.

In this field based role you will have responsibility to support existing partner brokers grow their business and to ensure they have a full understanding and make best use of the options the network offers to help them and their clients, this will include regular engagement with partner brokers and insurers to ensure a joined up approach on the placement of client insurances, additional products and resources.

On a day-to-day basis you'll be:

  • Building strong productive and consultative relationships with your partner brokers, insurers and teammates
  • Understanding and supporting the growth and delivery of broker and business objectives with the placement of client insurances, ensuring the right services, products and support are on offer at all times
  • Assist partner brokers in the design and implementation of broker growth plans through data analysis and use of MI to drive growth and panel placement
  • Engaging with key stakeholders internally and externally on identification and delivery of opportunities
  • Working with the Development Management team to achieve targets

Your skills and experience:

  • You will have a strong understanding of how insurance brokers and networks operate with the ability to influence and manage a panel of varied brokers.
  • Working knowledge of insurance providers and products across Commercial, Personal Lines and Niche areas.
  • Your skill set should include excellent stakeholder and relationship building, clear and timely communication (both written and verbal), influencing, negotiation, data analysis, insurance market and product knowledge and IT skills with a proven track record in sales.
