Business Development Consultant – Home Instead (East & West Midlands) Location: Field-based across the Midlands - Full-time £32k/annum

Are you passionate about building relationships, driving business growth, and making a real difference in your local community?

We’re recruiting for a Business Development Consultant to join our dynamic and growing Midlands Home Instead group. This is a new and exciting role, designed to support and report directly to our Business Development Manager, with a core focus on the East Midlands—but the flexibility to support the West Midlands as needed is essential.

About the Role This is a field-based role where you’ll play a key part in expanding our brand presence and generating opportunities for business growth. You will build strong community networks, represent Home Instead at events, and help increase awareness of both our services and employment opportunities.

You’ll have the opportunity to shape and influence the direction of your work while being part of a purpose-driven team committed to changing the face of ageing.

Key Responsibilities

· Build and maintain a robust pipeline of relationships across the community to promote Home Instead’s services and career opportunities.

· Represent Home Instead consistently with professionalism and integrity, aligned with our mission and values.

· Monitor, analyse and adjust your strategy based on data, community feedback, and performance outcomes.

· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local market conditions, competitors, and opportunities.

· Collaborate closely with the Business Development Manager and Senior Leadership Team.

· Use digital platforms and tools effectively to enhance reach and communication.

· Ensure all duties are carried out in line with Home Instead’s commitment to equality, diversity, and safeguarding.

What We’re Looking For

· Proven experience in business development, marketing, or community engagement.

· Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills, both face to face and virtually.

· Comfortable using data to inform decision-making.

· Self-motivated and able to manage time effectively across a varied and mobile role.

· Strong presentation and public speaking skills.

· Able to travel across the Midlands with flexibility to attend occasional evening or weekend events.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office or Google Suite, with a willingness to adopt new technologies.

· Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment

· Planning and organisational skills

· Business acumen and a collaborative mindset
