About Mediworld

Mediworld empowers and improves the quality of our customers' lives by providing high standards of medical equipment. Founded in 1973, we support organizations worldwide, including hospitals, medical professionals, care homes, UN organizations, charities, and community members. Our core offerings include branded surgical instruments, a diverse range of homecare equipment, extensive PPE supplies, and various medical devices. As we enter our sixth decade, we are expanding, particularly strengthening our sales team.

The Role

We seek an experienced originator/hunter to join our Business Development team, passionate about the healthcare industry. Since we operate primarily B2B, building relationships with trade customers is crucial. The ideal candidate will have tenacity, drive, and creative thinking to engage procurement teams in hospitals, the NHS, dental practices, and care homes.

You will have access to an existing client database for approach and upselling, but we also need someone proactive with experience in developing new markets. The ability to close deals successfully is essential. Our business leaders are skilled at opening doors and maintaining long-term relationships.

We are a small, family-run team of fewer than 20 employees, with a caring, supportive, yet innovative and driven culture. Ideally, you will have 3–5 years of sales experience with a proven success record. Experience selling healthcare products is advantageous but not mandatory.

Our compensation package reflects experience, with a base salary ranging from £25,000 to £35,000 per annum, plus a generous commission scheme that can bring OTE to over £50,000 annually.

Additional Information:

Location: This role is hybrid, combining remote work with time at our Head Quarters on Streatham High Road.

Holidays: 28 days plus bank holidays, with Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve off.
