We are looking for an extraordinary Business Coordinator / Hybrid Office Manager.

This role involves back-office responsibilities and assisting the commercial director in business development and sales.

The ideal candidate will be competent in prioritising tasks and working with little supervision. They will be driven, self-motivated, proactive, and trustworthy.

The Business Coordinator / Hybrid Office Manager will ensure the smooth running of the business, the delivery of orders, and will contribute to driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the sales function by managing enquiries
  • Support project management by placing and overseeing orders, organising collections, shipments, and deliveries
  • Manage phone calls and correspondence
  • Support budgeting and bookkeeping
  • Manage import procedures and policies
  • Prepare reports and presentations
  • Handle administrative tasks such as proformas, invoices, and delivery notes
  • Manage and distribute samples
  • Support business development activities
  • Identify efficiency opportunities and optimise procedures to support growth
  • Assist with planning and executing marketing initiatives

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of administrative or back-office experience, preferably in a small B2B business
  • Interest or understanding of sales and marketing
  • Flexibility and willingness to engage in various business areas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Proactive with a strong sense of initiative
  • High attention to detail
  • Proficient in Office; Photoshop and SquareSpare are a plus
  • Hands-on approach suitable for a small business
  • Eager to take on responsibilities as the role develops
  • Understanding of social media
  • Business acumen
  • Knowledge of import trading procedures
