Job summary

Travelodge is seeking a Trials Manager to bring our Business Change programmes to life across our hotel estate. You’ll work hands-on in hotels, collaborating with hotel teams to scope, plan and run trials and pilots before wider rollout.

You’ll travel nationally, build strong relationships with stakeholders and suppliers, track risks, and keep projects on track, turning insights into meaningful change that improves operations and guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hands-on operational experience in hotel or service environments.
• Strong ability to build relationships with hotel teams and senior stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a practical, can-do attitude.
• Comfortable using Google Workspace and adapting to new tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Scope, plan and prepare trials and pilots for Travelodge’s Business Change programmes.
• Work with Change Project Managers and Delivery Team to ensure trials roll out successfully.
• Spend time in hotels to observe operations, gather feedback and identify improvements.
• Track risks, keep stakeholders informed and ensure plans stay on track.

Please note that this role will involve national travel.

Your Purpose

As a Trials Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing Travelodge’s Business Change programmes to life across our hotel estate. You’ll work closely with Change Project Managers, our Change Delivery Team and teams across the business to scope, plan and prepare trials and pilots before they’re rolled out more widely.

This is a hands-on role where you’ll spend time in our hotels, working alongside Hotel teams to understand what really works, gather operational and customer feedback, spot opportunities for improvement and turn those insights into meaningful change. From preparing hotels for trials and keeping stakeholders informed, to supporting project plans, tracking risks and making sure everything stays on track, you’ll be right at the heart of delivering change that makes a difference.

Your Strengths

You’ll have hands-on operational experience and the confidence to build strong relationships with Hotel teams at all levels, as well as senior stakeholders and external suppliers. You’ll be self-motivated, organised and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and a practical, can-do attitude. You’ll be comfortable managing multiple tasks to deadlines, have strong attention to detail and be confident using Google Workspace, with a willingness to embrace new tools and ways of working.
