Job description

Job Description

Find where you belong!

Do you enjoy driving sales, promoting operational excellence and ensuring outstanding customer satisfaction? If yes, our Food & Beverage Operations Manager position might be the right next move for you.

Please Note, this role requires National Travel.

Your Purpose

You will develop and execute the national F&B strategy to significantly drive sales growth, maximise profitability and create memorable guest experiences across all bar and café locations. You’ll bring the brand to life through engaging, commercially compelling food and beverage concepts that give customers great value, quality and choice.

You will analyse market trends, customer feedback, guest behaviours and sales data to identify new commercial opportunities and innovative menu offerings that excite and appeal to our budget-conscious customers, while ensuring menus remain fresh, relevant and operationally deliverable.

In addition, you will support the development and delivery of comprehensive, engaging F&B training programmes, helping hotel teams build confidence, deliver consistently warm and welcoming service, and create experiences that keep guests coming back. You will also introduce new technologies and systems to enhance productivity, streamline operations, reduce waste and improve inventory management.

Furthermore, you will provide strategic direction, coaching and support to Regional Directors, Area Operations Managers and Hotel Teams to achieve F&B objectives. You’ll champion a high-performance culture built around collaboration, innovation, accountability and, importantly, a genuine passion for hospitality and putting the customer at the heart of what we do. You will build strong stakeholder relationships across Operations, Sales and Product to turn great ideas into commercially successful experiences.

Finally, you will utilise sales data, guest feedback and operational metrics to inform key business decisions, maintaining a clear and insightful dashboard tracking critical KPIs. You will analyse performance across regions and locations to identify what’s working, share best practice and replicate successful strategies, while providing targeted support to underperforming areas and turning challenges into opportunities.

Your Strengths

You will bring extensive senior multi-site F&B management experience within a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a proven track record of driving sales growth, delivering outstanding guest experiences and maintaining strong cost control.

You will demonstrate strong commercial acumen and financial literacy, with experience managing large P&Ls and budgets, alongside exceptional leadership and communication skills that inspire, engage and empower dispersed teams.

You’ll be naturally curious and customer-obsessed, with a passion for food, drink and the ever-changing world of hospitality. You’ll understand how to balance great service and memorable guest moments with commercial performance, operational simplicity and value for money.

Ultimately, you will have a strong understanding of UK food safety regulations and operational best practices, a hands-on and solutions-focused approach, and the energy to work collaboratively across a national estate. A willingness to travel nationally as required is essential.

Your Perks

  • Up to £60,000 & Annual Bonus
  • Contributory pension scheme
  • Car Allowance
  • Hybrid working - a minimum of 60% of your time should be spent in the office and or visiting suppliers
  • 50% personal discount for hotel bookings and great friends and family discounts too!
  • 25 days holiday + bank holidays, increasing with length of service
