Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is recruiting a Business Central Administrator for a growing manufacturer and distributor of specialist construction products in Worcester.

Reporting to the Head of IT, you will own the Dynamics 365 Business Central environment, support users, maintain data quality and improve business processes. The role is approximately 75% administration and 25% development, with structured support to build your development skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience administering Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong Excel skills for data imports, bulk updates and cleansing.
• Familiarity with AL extensions and development mindset is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Business Central administration and user access control.
• Maintain postings, dimensions, number series, workflows and item/lot tracking.
• Configure master data via packages and Excel imports/updates.
• Use Admin Centre to manage sandboxes, extensions and AppSource apps.
• Develop simple AL extensions in Visual Studio Code for fields, tables and reports.
• Test changes in sandbox and coordinate with partners before live release.
• Document changes and train colleagues on new processes.
