Job summary

VIQU Ltd has partnered with a growing manufacturer serving the construction sector to recruit a Business Central Administrator Dynamics 365. This on-site role is based in Worcester, Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with a salary of £40,000–£45,000 per annum and a quarterly bonus scheme.

You will own day-to-day BC administration, manage users and licences, and work with partners to support a live BC environment. The position offers ownership of data, reporting, and ongoing AL development within a broader

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' hands-on Business Central or Dynamics NAV administration experience.
• Strong BC configuration, permissions and workflow knowledge.
• Experience with data imports, bulk updates, cleansing and reconciliation.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Genuine interest in developing AL and Business Central development skills.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day Business Central administration and user support.
• Manage users, licences, roles, permissions and security groups.
• Maintain posting groups, dimensions, workflows, number series and job queues.
• Manage imports, bulk updates, data cleansing and master data.
• Manage BC environments, sandboxes, updates and installed extensions.
• Build reports, Excel layouts, views and role centre personalisation.
• Log, triage and manage Business Central issues and change requests.
• Work with Microsoft partners and app vendors on support and development.
• Build straightforward AL extensions using Visual Studio Code.
• Test and document changes before production release.
• Support users and help translate business requirements into system improvements.

VIQU has partnered with a growing manufacturer serving the construction sector to recruit a Business Central Administrator Dynamics 365. This is an opportunity to become the dedicated in-house Business Central resource within a growing IT function, taking ownership of BAU administration while developing your AL capability as part of a wider digitalisation programme. This Business Central Administrator Dynamics 365 position is particularly suited to an experienced administrator who wants to build development capability while retaining genuine ownership of a live Business Central environment.

Key Requirements of the Business Central Administrator Dynamics 365

• Some AL or Visual Studio Code experience would be advantageous.


• Manufacturing, distribution, stock, warehousing or batch/lot experience would be beneficial.
